 Salesforce Architect :

Our mission is simple: End Cyber Risk. We’re looking for  A  Salesforce Architect

 to be part of making this/that happen.    

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work with Business Applications Leadership to identify needed system changes and partner on adoption and change management.
  • Manage new releases of Salesforce and efficiently roll out new features.
  • Demonstration of a disciplined change control process.
  • Lead the design of end-to-end Salesforce architectures across Sales, Service, Experience Cloud and integrated systems.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all integrations that exist within your tool set and how changes, enhancements and new functionality adds mesh with and possibly affect the AWN application ecosystem.
  • Translate complex business needs into scalable, secure, high performing technical solutions.
  • Define integration patterns, data models, and system interactions following Salesforce best practices.
  • Responsible for configuration, design, functionality, and end-user support of the Salesforce application platform.
  • Identify production risks and areas for improvement; prioritizes, designs and facilitates successful implementation and adoption of new processes
  • Responsible for maintaining system security and integrity.
  • Create and manage necessary documentation regarding Salesforce tool management.
  • Troubleshoot all outages and produce root cause analysis reports as needed.  This would include the ability to communicate with leaders and/or executive leadership as needed with updates during and after emergency outage windows.
  • Lead install of new Managed Packages, enhancements and tools within Salesforce environment and assist with release prep communication and documentation review.
  • Review and guide solution designs, configuration, and code for quality and performance.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, admins, and project teams.
  • Establish development standards, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Define and enforce Salesforce governance, security, and data management standards.
  • Oversee environment strategy, release management, and platform lifecycle processes.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and IT standards.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in ways that resonate with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and emerging capabilities.
  • Recommend and drive enhancements that improve platform performance and business outcomes.
  • Identify risks, anticipate challenges, and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Solid understanding of how Salesforce connects to other internal applications, including owning the integration user set up and configuration.

  • Collaborative and consultative abilities to work with non-technical end users.
  • Computer literate and proficient in standard office applications Word, Excel and Outlook.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce architecture, development, and design.
  • In-depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of Salesforce.
  • Expertise with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, APIs, and system integration patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce security models, data modeling, and governor limits.
  • Experience designing solutions across Sales, Service, and/or Experience Cloud.
  • Aptitude for eliciting user requirements and developing both process and technical solutions
  • Experience developing and using Agentforce functionality.
  • Background with DevOps tools
  • Salesforce certifications such as Technical Architect, Application Architect, or System Architect.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks or modernization initiatives.
  • Prior work in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Willingness to continue growing through experience and/or study and certification.
  • Detail oriented and self-starter with strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative and consultative abilities to work with non-technical end users
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Proven knowledge of the Lead to Book Sales lifecycle within a SaaS company
  • Team player with a positive “can-do” attitude
  • Working knowledge of SOX compliance and tracking.
  • Minimum expectation of a bachelor’s degree OR equivalent education/experience.
  • Computer literate and proficient in standard office applications Word, Excel and Outlook

Environment and Physical Demands

  • Work is primarily sedentary in nature and can be executed sitting or standing positions in an office environment.
  • Requires ability to utilize technology related to using a keyboard, verbal communication, and work with device screens which require visual acuity.
  • If located in a company office, often requires the mobility to physically navigate the space.
  • Expectation of being on camera during all internal calls (Zoom, Slack, etc.)
  • In the event of business travel, mobility sufficient to utilize public and private transport and navigate to essential locations.
  • May include moving or lifting of 25 pounds or less (e.g. office chair, reams of paper).

Typically 10% or less of business travel
