About the role:
We’re looking for a hands-on Salesforce Administrator and Builder hybrid role to continuously modernize our Salesforce platform for multiple sales teams. This role is heavily focused on configuration, Flow-based automation, data modelling and integrations, and pragmatic AI experimentation (Agentforce) to improve sales productivity and decision-making.
You’ll partner with sales, operations, analytics, and data teams to translate evolving business needs into scalable, well-governed solutions—ensuring new data fits the business model and supports real-world workflows and reporting.
Administration, Configuration & Sales Enablement:
Support Salesforce administration: users, roles, profiles, permission sets/permission set groups, access controls and role-based Lightning experiences, as required.
Design and build Business Backlog priorities: Configure and evolve Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, record types, validation rules, page layouts, dynamic forms, Homepages by role/profile, Lightning App pages, navigation, and visibility patterns
Build account plans and structured selling workflows (goals, milestones, activities, prompts)
Configure client team relationship models (coverage teams, specialists, visibility patterns, relationship maps) to support collaboration and reporting
Build role-based Lightning experiences, including improving usability and adoption through intuitive design, reduced clicks, and clear in-app guidance (screen flows, prompts)
Design and build various client sales and behavioural insights using reports and dashboards
Support multiple sales teams with unique processes, KPIs, and coverage models
Maintain platform health and governance: data quality, standards, documentation, and release readiness
Support deployments (change sets and/or DevOps processes)
Automation & Process Modernization:
Design and implement advanced automation using Flow (record-triggered, scheduled, screen flows)
Modernize and rebuild business processes to reduce friction, standardize where appropriate, and scale improvements, including migration of legacy automations into a maintainable Flow architecture, where necessary
Automate manual sales admin work (e.g., guided steps, prompts, data hygiene, reminders) while ensuring reliability and auditability
Data Modelling, Integrations & Data Flow Design (ETL + Reporting):
Translate requirements into a fit-for-purpose data model that aligns to business workflows and reporting needs
Design and support end-to-end data flows from source systems into Salesforce (batch/near-real-time), including:
Data mapping, transformation logic, and load strategy (incremental vs full)
Data quality checks, reconciliation, error handling, and monitoring
Support integrations using ETL/middleware and APIs (tooling varies by environment; e.g., Informatica, Data Virtuality, etc.)
Use SOQL (and SQL where applicable) to validate logic, troubleshoot issues, and support reporting/analytics needs
Ensure new data is usable in Salesforce via appropriate UX and reporting structures (report types, dashboards, summary views)
AI Experimentation (Practical, Value-Driven):
Contribute to thoughtful experimentation and adoption of Einstein / Agentforce capabilities
Identify low-risk, high-value AI use cases (summaries, insights, guided actions) with an emphasis on data readiness and governance
Required:
3–5+ years of Salesforce Administrator experience in a complex, evolving environment
Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator certification
Strong hands-on experience with App configuration, development and engineering practices, data modelling and process design, with a special focus on Sales Cloud
Advanced expertise with Flow (including troubleshooting and scalable patterns)
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model (OWD, sharing, FLS), and platform limits
Demonstrated experience with data modelling and integrating new data into an existing CRM in a way that supports business workflows and reporting
Practical integration experience: ETL/data pipelines, data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and monitoring
Proficiency with SOQL; SQL experience for external data sources/analytics is an asset
Strong stakeholder skills: can elicit requirements, clarify ambiguity, and balance speed with long-term maintainability
Practical understanding of platform limits and scalable configuration patterns, explains trade-offs.
Nice to have:
Financial services experience (asset management preferred)
Exposure to Einstein/Agentforce or AI-enabled CRM capabilities
Experience with APIs, middleware/ETL platforms, and release/deployment practices
Salesforce certifications (Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator II, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder)
What Success Looks Like:
Modernized, Flow-first processes that reduce manual effort and improve capabilities across sales teams
Measurable reduction in manual admin work through smart automation
Integrated financial/relationship data that fits the Salesforce model, is trusted, and is reportable
Role-based UX (including Homepages) that drives adoption and surfaces the right information for each team
Measurable progress on roadmap and business backlog use cases that improve productivity without compromising governance
Mindset:
You’re a builder who enjoys deep configuration, thoughtful automation, and simplifying how teams work. You move quickly but deliberately, balancing delivery speed with quality, governance, and maintainability.
The anticipated compensation range for this role is $38.50/hour, which represents base wage. Actual compensation will be determined based on many factors such as role location, candidate experience / qualifications, market conditions, and internal equity.
