Job Summary:

The Sales & Trading Analyst will support the Fixed Income Sales and Trading desk at Texas Capital Bank, assisting with client relationship management, trade execution, market analysis, and product development to drive revenue growth and enhance client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior sales and trading professionals in managing client relationships, including preparing marketing materials, conducting client outreach, and responding to inquiries.

  • Support the execution of fixed income trades, including order entry, trade allocation, and post-trade processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within various fixed income sectors.

  • Prepare financial models, presentations, and reports to support sales efforts and provide insights to clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including research, credit, and operations, to ensure seamless client service and efficient trade execution.

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of relevant financial products, market dynamics, and regulatory changes.

  • Participate in client meetings and presentations alongside senior team members.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of desk processes and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.

  • 0-2 years of experience in financial services, with a strong preference for internships or experience in sales & trading, capital markets, or investment banking.

  • Solid understanding of fixed income products, market structures, and financial concepts.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial data terminals (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.

  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe upon hire).
