Job Description

The Sales Support Specialist assists the sales team by preparing and processing customer accounts, gathering and reviewing sales information, collaborating with other employees and listening to customers’ needs. The Sales Support Specialist addresses customer inquiries with a positive attitude.
Review, onboarding and ongoing support of our Correspondent lenders by following established procedures. The actions include but are not limited to the following: reviewing new application packages, communication with our sales team, lenders and Housing Finance Authorities, obtain missing documentation, update our client management system to onboard new lenders, organize files and perform review of annual recertifications. Respond to questions from our lenders, HFA partners, internal staff and our sales team in our shared mailbox. Review monitoring actions against our lender base and follow procedure for collecting information. Build good rapport with sales staff, take ownership and actively build credibility and trust. Offer support to other colleagues where necessary. Participate in completing miscellaneous departmental projects as necessary.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically four to five years of clerical experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data
- Proven customer service/relations skills
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

-Minimum 4 years mortgage experience, processing or Correspondent Lending lender approval experience.

Location expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $24.18 - $32.21
