Summit Funding Group, a direct lender, small ticket equipment leasing company located in Mason, OH, is looking for a full-time Sales Support Specialist. The Sales Support Specialist finance contracts in accordance with credit approval conditions, operational requirements and customer needs; insures that pending contracts are documented, processed, paid and booked accurately; completes post-closing contract follow up correctly, timely and in compliance with established procedures; interfaces effectively with internal and external including but not limited to customers, attorneys, sales representatives and operations team members.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Ability to calculate transaction pricing, sales tax and payments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Pays attention to detail and solid follow up skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to communicate with vendors regarding transactions for additional information, invoices, install dates, etc.
- Will provide excellent customer service to all brokers, discounters, lessees, lenders and vendors
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job
- Customer Service Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, TValue, Adobe Standard (PDF)
- Open to change
- Ability to view changes as a positive move into the right direction
- Ability to articulate new ideas to improve processes
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of Lease Plus
- Knowledge of leasing and/or mortgage industries preferred
- Knowledge of legal and accounting terms for all finance type structures
- One year experience in a leasing/commercial lending document preparation role
HP12C and/or 10-key skills necessary
