The Sales Support Manager role is critical in developing relationships with Credit, Dealer Credit and Operations in order to execute on tasks. The role serves as the liaison between various departments to secure lines of credit, annual renewals and strategic dealer finance packages. The Sales Support Manager will be proficient in pricing, use of tools such as Salesforce, Diro and wholesale pricing. The role supports the General Manager for Canada and the associated District Finance Manager Team. The Sales Support Manager will help manage day to day business while interacting with a diverse group of partners and external customers / dealers. Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTFS
Working with the General Manager to execute strategies that support acquisitions, penetration, pricing and presentations.
Working with District Finance Managers day to day to manage key fleet lines, renewals, pricing and account maintenance. Also supporting with Dealer reviews and managing new financing requests / account maintenance. Providing back up support to DFM’s, working with Dealers, Customers and internal stakeholders.
Working with District Finance Managers on monthly projections and targets related to pricing, acquisitions, penetration and insurance / fee income products.
Developing relationships with Credit, Dealer Credit, Customer Service, Collections, Funding. Acting as the liaison and expert to manage processes, problem solve and solve cross-department issues.
Supporting the General Manager to carry out tasks in line with the strategic direction for DTFS Canada.
Establishing and maintaining a productive working relationship with the Credit and Operations Departments to ensure the ongoing exchange of information, including updates on process changes.
Knowledge You Should Bring
Bachelors Degree and minimum of 5 years of experience (or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
Progressive experience in the financial services industry, knowledge of captive finance
Previous management experience (mid-level)
Strong understanding of the commercial truck market in Canada – Class 8, 6/7 and Bus
Understanding of truck applications, use and related industries
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
French language skills; proficiency in speaking and writing French
Strong understanding of commercial financing – wholesale, mortgages, capital lending
Strong understanding of commercial credit
