Team Overview

The Sales & Go‑to‑Market Solutions team partners with financial services organizations to drive responsible growth through data, analytics, and insights. This internship supports both Credit & Risk Solutions and Marketing Solutions, providing exposure to how TransUnion enables acquisition, risk management, and customer engagement across the full customer lifecycle. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview and Core Responsibilities

This internship exists to provide hands‑on exposure to enterprise B2B sales, go‑to‑market strategy, and data‑driven solutions within the financial services ecosystem. The role is structured as a rotational experience, allowing the intern to gain an end‑to‑end view of how TransUnion’s solutions support responsible growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Support sales and strategy teams by analyzing customer segments, sales pipelines, and market opportunities to inform go‑to‑market decisions
  • Shadow client meetings, solution demonstrations, and internal deal strategy sessions to understand enterprise sales motions
  • Conduct competitive landscape, buyer persona, and go‑to‑market research to support solution positioning
  • Deliver actionable business insights through defined project work tied to real sales and strategy needs
  • Develop executive‑ready presentations and recommendations that synthesize data, insights, and strategy
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Strategy teams to support integrated solutions
  • Participate in a final capstone project that connects insights across solutions and the customer lifecycle

Required Knowledge and Experiences

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field, with an expected graduation date of June 2028 or earlier
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, used to translate data into clear business insights
  • Demonstrated interest in enterprise sales, go‑to‑market strategy, data‑driven solutions, or financial services
  • Ability to take ownership of projects, manage priorities, and operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment

Required Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for developing executive‑level presentations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis, data review, and insight development

We’re also looking for the preferred skills below. Whether you are proficient or could use some brushing up, we’re happy to support your career development and growth in:

  • Prior exposure to sales strategy, marketing strategy, or consulting‑style project work
  • Experience working with data analysis, market research, or customer insights
  • Familiarity with financial services, analytics, or B2B solutions environments

Our Summer Internship Program will allow you to use & develop the skills you've learned in school while participating in engaging events such as: career development workshops, networking events, and guest speakers throughout this paid 12-week internship beginning in May or June, depending on academic calendar.
