Job Description

Are you a recent graduate looking to gain experience in a global ASX listed organisation, providing our sales strategy team with analytical support.

The CHEP Australia sales strategy team leads commercial strategy development and execution for the business. This is delivered through the management of the annual and four-year revenue plan, which includes growth initiatives in existing and new customer channels (Place), new product development and existing product enhancement (Product), and strategic pricing (Price).

There is an opportunity for a recent graduate to join the team as a Sales Strategy Analyst for a 13-week period, starting January, to help accelerate progress on key strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Data analysis for revenue reporting and forecasting (month-end, new / lost business, pricing, as required)
  • Providing analytical support for FY27 price budgeting and the 4YP
  • Pricing planning and execution tools administration and support
  • Developing presentation materials for the Integrated Business Planning process
  • Working with the marketing team on marketing briefs, and collateral development and review, if required
  • Any other / ad-hoc analytical and reporting support

What will ensure your success:

  • High levels of curiosity and learning agility
  • Data and financial analysis, primarily using MS Excel
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, using MS PowerPoint and MS Word
  • Project coordination ability
  • Ability to draft, review approval papers and notes
  • Experience of using Power-BI and MS SharePoint would be preferred
