Make your impact
This is a high‑impact opportunity to help grow Weir’s Hydrau-flow fast‑fill fuel systems business across Australia and APAC. You’ll combine industry expertise with a commercial mindset, working closely with sales leadership to build strong distributor, OEM and customer relationships. Partnering with global and regional teams, you’ll unlock new routes to market, shape growth strategy, and drive expansion across the mining and construction sectors. This position can be based anywhere in Australia!

What you’ll do

  • Drive growth of the Hydrau-flow / fast‑fill fuel systems business across Australia and APAC, expanding market presence and achieving sales KPIs.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, OEMs and end users, including securing new partners such as Komatsu and Liebherr.
  • Act as the technical product expert, supporting customer applications, resolving service issues, and enabling sales teams with technical insight.
  • Collaborate with Global Sales and internal stakeholders to align product strategy, market approach and customer solutions.
  • Use market intelligence and customer feedback to guide product development, pricing, and short‑ and long‑term sales forecasting.
  • Represent the business through regular domestic and international travel, engaging key accounts, distributors and industry events across APAC.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in fast‑fill fuel systems, fluid‑handling equipment, or off‑highway heavy equipment within mining or construction.
  • Relevant engineering qualification (Mechanical, Process, Chemical or similar), with degree or technical diploma and equivalent experience.
  • Strong commercial and customer‑facing capability, with confidence engaging distributors, OEMs and Tier 1 mining customers.
  • Ability to work autonomously, balancing technical credibility with business development in a lean support environment.
  • Experience working within a distribution‑led sales model, ideally with OEMs and channel partners.
  • Exposure to bespoke engineered systems or hybrid technical–commercial roles, with an existing industry network highly regarded.
