Job Description

At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we offer a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Specialist HighPlex to work in Norway, focusing on both academia and industry. You will be part of a world-class team dedicated to providing innovative solutions and building long-term partnerships with high-level customers!

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers in academia (e.g., clinicians, professors) and industry (e.g., pharma, biotech).
  • Identify customer needs and present tailored solutions to achieve both short-term and long-term sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure great execution of sales strategies.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales within the life sciences sector.
  • Strong understanding of the scientific research environment and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an ambitious team.
  • Willingness to travel within Norway and as required.
  • Proficiency in English (required) and Norwegian (strongly preferred).
  • Willing to travel over 5% of the time (minimum 3 days/week).
