Position Summary
As a Sales Specialist for Cyber Security at Ingram Micro, you will act as the primary commercial contact for our Fortinet partners. Your focus will be to drive partner engagement, identify business opportunities, and support the development of a strong and healthy sales pipeline. You will work closely with resellers to accelerate deal flow, improve win rates, and ensure a seamless sales process from inquiry to order. This is a dynamic role where relationship-building, commercial drive, and operational excellence come together.

Key responsibilities

Sales & Partner Engagement

  • Act as the main commercial point of contact for Fortinet partners
  • Proactively engage resellers to identify opportunities and build pipeline
  • Drive deal progression, improve velocity, and increase win rates
  • Support partners with quotations, pricing, and deal structuring
  • Manage deal registrations and ensure timely follow-ups
  • Contribute to ongoing partner development and engagement

Opportunity & Pipeline Management

  • Manage Fortinet opportunities from initial inquiry through to order
  • Follow up on open quotes, renewals, and expiring deals
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking in CRM systems
  • Contribute to forecast accuracy and pipeline quality
  • Ensure a structured and proactive approach to pipeline management

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in inside sales, sales support, or channel sales
  • Background within IT, Cybersecurity, Networking, or Software Licensing
  • Experience working with vendors, distributors, and reseller ecosystems is highly advantageous
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage pipeline and work proactively with opportunities
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales tracking systems
