About the team
FIS Supply Chain Finance is a leading provider of working capital solutions to large corporates and financial institutions through a broad range of supply chain finance solutions. FIS SCF’s technology platform automates Payables and Receivables Financing transactions, and our team of industry experts helps companies and funders to select the optimal structure and implement transactions.
What you will be doing
The Sales Executive, Corporate Origination in North America is responsible for generating new business by sourcing, qualifying and progressing opportunities with large multinational corporate clients, private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, and relevant business introducers. You will manage a defined pipeline from first contact through to mandate and handover to execution/implementation, partnering with internal stakeholders across the Commercial function (incl. Marketing & Business Development) to increase market penetration and revenue growth.
Prospect and qualify Corporate and Private Equity opportunities in partnership with Business Development; support targeted campaigns with Marketing to drive inbound lead flow.
Partner with FIS Account Managers to identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities within the existing FIS client base.
Run end-to-end sales cycles for complex working capital finance engagements—from discovery and needs assessment to solution positioning, commercial negotiation, mandate, and handover to execution/implementation.
Represent FIS SCF at relevant industry events; contribute to client-facing materials and share field feedback with Origination, Marketing, Structuring, and Execution teams.
Support the Transactional Sales desk by identifying opportunities to position reporting services with relevant funders in the Trade Receivables Securitization industry.
Manage territory and pipeline using CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring accurate forecasting, prioritisation of the target account list, and disciplined progression of opportunities.
Build product and structuring knowledge and share best practices with peers and partner teams to improve sales effectiveness and client outcomes.
What you bring:
5+ years of experience in sales, relationship management, banking, advisory, or fintech, ideally in trade, working capital, or corporate finance solutions.
Demonstrated success selling to, or managing relationships with, Private Equity sponsors and/or their portfolio companies.
Strong product understanding across working capital finance solutions, with the ability to translate product features into client value.
Proven ability to progress opportunities through the full sales cycle, partnering with structuring, legal, risk, and implementation teams to support successful closings.
Ability to develop new client relationships through consultative selling, working closely with Business Development, OCFO sales, and Marketing to source and advance opportunities.
Established network (or ability to build one) within working capital finance and/or Trade Receivables Securitization, with strong outbound prospecting skills.
Solid understanding of structural and credit considerations that influence funder appetite and client decision-making for working capital finance transactions.
Added bonus if you have:
In depth understanding of Trade Receivables Financing (Securitization, Factoring, Receivables Monetization) Products.
Experience working with Technology-led products.
Familiarity with CRM system(s) such as Salesforce.
