The Position

The Opportunity

You as Sales Representative are responsible for driving product adoption and business growth across the assigned territory. You are accountable for establishing and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals, clinics, hospitals while actively promoting Roche’s Near Patient Care portfolio (primarily the Continuous Glucose Monitoring system solution). You as Sales Representative serve as the primary point of contact for the assigned customer group, ensuring that their needs are understood and addressed. This is a field-based role that requires frequent travel within the assigned region/territory.

  • Territory Management - cover Budapest and/or assigned counties, ensuring optimal market presence and customer engagement.

  • Portfolio Knowledge - possess in-depth knowledge of the assigned product portfolio and market landscape

  • Customer Engagement - build and maintain long-term relationships with the relevant healthcare professionals (endocrinologists, diabetologists, diabetes nurses), collaborate with customers to co-create sustainable, tailor-made solutions

  • Sales Excellence - plan and conduct customer visits, promote Roche CGM products, drive adoption, and achieve sales targets in line with the territory business plan.

  • Market Development - identify new business opportunities, expand access to CGM solutions, and strengthen Roche’s presence in the diabetes care ecosystem.

  • Education & Training - support healthcare professionals with product knowledge, demonstrations, and onboarding of CGM solutions, organize and facilitate customer meetings.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration - work closely with cross-functional peers/teams (i.e. Sales Manager, Product Manager, Customer Care Advisor, etc.) to deliver comprehensive solutions to customers.

  • Market Intelligence - monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer insights to inform business strategy and tactical plans.

  • Compliance - ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting in the CRM system, ensure that all activities are carried out in line with Roche’s values, compliance principles, and local regulations (i.e. SOPs, KPIs, SLAs, occupational safety, MedTech, Compliance, and ISO guidelines).

  • Other - participate in scientific conferences, Roche-hosted events, and other industry activities, represent Roche Diagnostics in a professional manner, enhancing the company’s credibility during client engagements.

Who you are

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Healthcare field

  • Valid category B driving license, willingness to travel 

  • Experience in a similar Sales Representative/Key Account Manager role within the Pharmaceutical, Diagnostics, Medical Devices industry

  • Experience in Diabetes disease management and networking in the Diabetes market is advantage

  • High level of IT and digital literacy, ability to flawlessly communicate on Roche interfaces, programs

  • Demonstrating end-to-end accountability/ownership, business acumen, excellent customer orientation and service mindset, consulting and negotiation skills, ability to translate/address customer needs and implement solutions 

  • Proven track record of building strong, effective and sustainable relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders

  • Good analytical and systems thinking, solution-orientation 

  • Ability to work and thrive in a networked environment, cross-departments, stakeholders and geographies

  • Ability to be self-managed and self-directed, ability to drive and facilitate the daily work, projects, processes and initiatives efficiently

  • Ability to navigate and work in networks across geographies, business and roles / self organized teams with an enterprise perspective with an agile mindset

  • Demonstrating agile skills and flexibility, easy adaptation to changes

  • Strong team player - experience in working effectively with cross-functional groups, having a growth mindset and high self-motivation

  • Ability and willingness to demonstrate Roche Values and Operating Principles in his/her behavior

  • Strong ethical mindset and good understanding of relevant compliance principles and  regulations 

  • Fluent in the local language and proficient in English.
