Outside Sales Representative – Residential & Commercial
Reports to: Showroom General Manager

Position Profile
The Outside Sales Representative is a senior, client facing role and a key brand ambassador for HOLLY HUNT. This position owns the development, management, and growth of relationships within an assigned territory, serving as a trusted partner to design professionals and their clients. The role requires strong market presence, refined presentation skills, and the ability to influence purchasing decisions through expertise, service, and thoughtful curation. Success is measured by sustained territory growth, depth of client relationships, and the consistent delivery of a premium client experience aligned with the HOLLY HUNT brand.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Own and actively manage a designated sales territory, maintaining a full calendar of outside appointments and conducting regular, high quality sales presentations with designers and clients (15+ per week).
•    Serve as a resource to designers and clients, providing expert guidance on product assortments, pricing, lead times, specifications, and appropriate applications across residential and commercial projects.
•    Be accountable for individual sales performance and territory results, partnering with the Showroom General Manager to align on goals, priorities, and opportunities for growth.
•    Develop and deliver curated, strategic sales presentations that are tailored to client needs, project scope, and market positioning.
•    Proactively identify, develop, and deepen designer and client relationships, balancing new business development with long term relationship stewardship.
•    Execute disciplined, organized follow up for all presentations, ensuring momentum is maintained and residential business is transitioned seamlessly to inside sales partners as appropriate.
•    Maintain and elevate client libraries throughout the territory, ensuring designers have consistent exposure to the most current HOLLY HUNT products, samples, and resources.
•    Manage and track leads and projects with accuracy and foresight, registering projects and maintaining visibility into the sales pipeline.
•    Provide regular, thoughtful reporting to the Showroom General Manager, including call activity, pipeline health, market insights, and competitive observations.
•    Support showroom operations when not in the field, including scheduled coverage as needed, while maintaining a leadership presence on the showroom floor.
•    Acknowledge and engage all showroom visitors, reinforcing a welcoming, elevated client experience.
•    Remain highly knowledgeable about HOLLY HUNT products, launches, and brand initiatives, as well as broader design and market trends relevant to clients.

QUALIFICATIONS
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
•    8+ years of progressive sales experience; background in luxury furniture, textiles, or a design driven environment strongly preferred.
•    Demonstrated success selling into both residential and commercial markets.
•    Exceptional relationship building, communication, and presentation skills.
•    Highly organized, disciplined, and able to manage complex territories and multiple projects simultaneously.
•    Self directed, results oriented, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy.
•    Ability and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
