Sales Operations Support Specialist

Florida - Remote Full time

Job Description:

The Sales Operations Support Specialist will be a resource to help support Salesforce (SFDC), Natterbox call monitoring, and other enablement platform work and partner with the Director of Sales and Success Strategy Performance and Technology to develop processes and training to support those platforms, as well as being involved in ongoing work to improve the capabilities of the sales system and the overall results of Scholastic Book Fairs. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Participate in weekly calls for SFDC and Natterbox platform as it relates to requirements gathering, sprint planning, sprint demos, UAT, and stand-up calls, where necessary.

2. Partner with Sales Technology Product Manager to document training opportunities, and support training as needed.  Meet with Sales Leadership, end users, and the CRM team to summarize and present needs for platorm enhancements. 

3. Partner with Sales Leadership, under the guidance of the Director of Sales and Success Strategy Performance and Technology to align Sales territories yearly.

4. Manage uploads and data import in Salesforce using Data Loader application.

5. Manage reporting and data needs for Salesforce and our enablement platforms to support Sales Leadership. Partner and collaborate with Analytics team and Director of Sales and Success Strategy Performance and Technology in creation of reports and dashboards for sales users, through a request process.

6. Partner with Marketing Team to provide targeted email lists for prospecting and other campaign needs.

7. Partner with VP of Sales Operations, Enablement and Training on projects for reporting and analytical support, in addition to providing insight to sales effectiveness/strategy.

8. Scope and participate in the launch new tools and technologies based on needs presented by Sales Leadership and the VP of Sales Operations, Enablement and Training including needs assessment and user acceptance testing.

9. Support Director of Sales and Success Strategy Performance and Technology in being a thought leader, with an eye toward innovation, automation, and efficiency through close monitoring of industry best practices, technology advancements, and trends.

10. Invest in personal development to maintain/grow knowledge and skills in all job-related areas.

11. Respond to special requests.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 5- 10 years with Salesforce platform required.  Familiarity with Sales and Service Clouds, Case Management and Contact Center, creation and configuration of reports & dashboards, experience with Territory Planning & Maps (or similar applications), user administration and mass data import tools (ex. Salesforce Data Loader) preferred.

2. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is desired.

3. Strong training and facilitation skills.

4. Excellent verbal and written communications skills; presentation, customer service, business, and negotiation skills.

5. Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and with cross-functional teams.

6. Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas.

7.Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.

8. This individual must work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees within the function, across functions and with external parties.

9. Must be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert.

10. The individual must demonstrate favorable results through leadership and influencing multiple individuals and groups.

The pay range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 annually.
