Inside the Role

The Daimler Coaches North America Sales Operations and Administration Analyst will support the sales operations department as directed. Preparing, maintaining, monitoring and tracking accurate documentation concerning sales offers, inventories, orders and demo vehicle use in the relevant systems. This person will offer professional support with timely follow up for other sales related tasks.

Position offers a starting salary range of $65,000.00 - $83,000.00 USD 

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience​

What You Drive at DTNA  

  • Support internal sales operations with management of various duties to ensure all new vehicle specifications are accurately documented & processed. Liaise with relevant Sales Managers as directed to ensure vehicle specifications are in order to meet customer requirements.
  • As directed, accurately track and monitor vehicle orders, build schedules and inventories.
  • Assist & support preparation of sales offers, maintain an accurate accountability of all sales quotes in the relevant documentation systems including CAS checks and compliance documentation activities.
  • Assist in tracking and monitoring production orders placed with the plant. Coordinate queries and provide updates to the sales & mgmt. team.
  • Support the management and tracking of demo vehicle use, unit moves, documentation and compliance to requirements.
  • Ensure timely execution of all necessary approvals for the sales orders in the systems (mainly SAP), prepare offers (quotes & purchase agreements) and ensure a timely confirmation and signature by the customer. Maintain required files and documentation and accountabilities.
  • Become familiar with CRM system (NOVIS) to support the DCNA team in NOVIS (sales and aftermarket).
  • Support preparation of regular reporting for production orders, quotes and sales orders activity.
  • Coordinate with marketing and support as needed for development of brochures, sell sheets, FAB, etc


Knowledge You Should Bring  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or similar and 2 years of relevant experience, OR  Associates degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in sales or customer service support role in a business-to-business environment such as commercial vehicles or capital equipment.
  • Fine attention to detail and accountability is necessary, as well as being a people person with excellent customer service knowledge.
  • Computer literacy across multiple platforms including familiarity with CRM software (MS Office, SAP, Novis, etc)
  • Time management and organization in a variety of organization methods, to handle multiple projects at one time and completing tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • High level of personal and professional integrity, honesty and accountability.
  • An attached resume is required.


Exceptional Candidates Might Have  

  • Start-up experience a plus.
  • Act as a consultant to define most suitable configuration options and capabilities and subsequent processes.
