Job Summary

This role supports sales compensation and sales planning processes, with primary responsibility for commissions administration (60%) and secondary responsibility for sales planning and analytics (40%). The position partners cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations and is expected to evolve toward a more planning-focused role over time.

Essential Functions

  • Own execution and support of commissions processes within CaptivateIQ (CIQ), including data validation, payout review, issue resolution, and responding to rep inquiries

  • Ensure accuracy and alignment of data across Salesforce, CIQ, and planning/reporting tools

  • Support and execute components of quota planning processes, including data preparation, tracking, and performance analysis

  • Build, maintain, and validate reporting related to commissions, quota attainment, and sales performance

  • Identify and address data inconsistencies, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement across systems and workflows

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations to support planning and compensation processes

  • Contribute to process documentation, standardization, and system enhancements (CIQ, Salesforce, reporting tools)

  • Support ad hoc analysis and business needs related to sales planning, compensation, and performance

  • Take on additional responsibilities aligned to sales operations, planning, and compensation as business needs evolve


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Analytics, or related field preferred

  • 2–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Planning, Commissions, or related analytical role

  • Experience working with sales compensation tools (e.g., CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Varicent) preferred

  • Medical device, healthcare, or SaaS experience a plus


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM systems

  • Experience supporting sales operations, commissions, or data-driven processes preferred

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook), with advanced Excel capabilities preferred

  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a plus

  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage large datasets and ensure data accuracy

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and inconsistencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally

  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability with proven follow-through

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and support evolving business needs

  • Minimal travel required; occasional travel (1–2 times per year) may be expected to support team meetings and collaboration.

The annual salary for this position is:

$72,000.00 to $105,000.00

This position is eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company's bonus plan. Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
