The Sales Manager Compex – Italy (Direct) & EMEA (Distributors) is responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy for the Compex Consumer business in Italy (direct sales) and across EMEA markets through distributors.

The role focuses on driving revenue growth, profitability, and brand execution, ensuring strong field presence, effective distributor management, and full alignment with the Compex International sales and marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Define and execute the sales strategy for Italy (direct business) and EMEA distributor markets.
  • Deliver revenue, margin, and profitability targets.
  • Prepare sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends using CRM and reporting tools.
  • Identify and develop new markets and business opportunities.

Direct Sales Management – Italy

Manage and develop key Italian accounts (online and offline).

  • Drive sell‑out performance through retail activation, merchandising, and promotions.
  • Organize and deliver in‑store trainings and field activities.
  • Ensure qualitative brand presence at points of sale, events, and consumer activations.
  • Work closely with Customer Service to support sales execution.

Distributor Management – EMEA

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage distributors across EMEA.
  • Act as the main commercial contact for assigned distributors.
  • Support distributors with sales planning, training, and activation guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing policies, EU commercial directives, and SOPs.
  • Monitor distributor performance and implement corrective actions when required.

Brand Activation & Field Execution

  • Ensure strong brand visibility and execution across Italy and EMEA.
  • Oversee field activations including retail, events, clinics, fairs, and partnerships.
  • Coordinate ambassador and influencer networks in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Act as a brand ambassador and key representative of Compex in assigned markets.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Reporting

  • Collaborate closely with International Marketing, E‑commerce, Customer Service, and After‑Sales teams.
  • Share best practices and market insights with the international sales organization.
  • Provide regular reporting and recommendations to management.

Qualifications & Experience

Education & Experience

  • Proven experience in a Sales Manager or Business Development role.
  • Experience managing both direct sales and distributor networks.
  • Strong background in B2C and B2B consumer markets.
  • Experience working in an international environment.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to define and execute a successful sales strategy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong KPI and performance tracking capabilities.
  • High level of autonomy, organization, and accountability.
  • Hands‑on, field‑oriented approach.

Languages

  • Italian: Fluent or native
  • English: Fluent
