KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE:

  • Lead dual responsibility across regional market development (SEA TMTI) and country commercial leadership (Singapore,
  • all franchises)
  • Drive adoption and expansion of TMTI as well as building and strengthening strategic partnership with key physicians,
  • institutions, and stakeholders across SEA region
  • Own and deliver full commercial performance across SH portfolio in Singapore
  • Develop high performing teams and ensure clinical and commercial execution excellence
  • Aligning regional strategy with local market needs to achieve sustainable growth and market leadership
  • Lead and execute commercial strategy across SEA TMTI and Singapore all product franchises to deliver sustainable growth
  • Drive therapy adoption and market development for TMTI across SEA, including identification and expansion of CoE
  • Own end-to-end business performance in Singapore, including sales results, forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic account execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (IC, CS, Echo, hospital management, and procurement across the region
  • Lead, Coach, and develop a high performing sales and clinical team in Singapore, while providing strategic guidance and clinical support to SEA country team for TMTI
  • Ensure clinical and procedural excellence, including support for complex cases and collaboration with clinical, training, and medical affair teams
  • Drive education and capability building initiatives, including physician training programs, workshops, and proctorships
  • Lead tender strategy, pricing, and contract negotiations in Singapore, while supporting market access initiative across SEA
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and reimbursement environments to identify growth opportunities and risks
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and company standards across all markets
  • Build organizational capability and succession planning to support long-term business growth

Requirements

  • University degree (or equivalent) in science, healthcare, or business discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, with a strong balance of clinical and commercial
  • (sales) experience, and preferred strong clinical competence in Structural Heart Therapies
  • Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams, with solid people management and coaching
  • capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate dynamic and evolving market environments, with agility in addressing challenges and
  • driving business outcomes
  • - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong ability to influence physicians, hospital stakeholders, and
  • internal teams
  • Strong customer-centric mindset, with deep understanding of clinical needs and patient pathways
  • Strong business acumen, including strategic planning, forecasting, and commercial execution
  • Handle and process customer feedbacks/complaints/product experience as applicable in timely manner and according to Abbott Medical policy and requirement.
