JOB PURPOSE
The topline objective of a sales manager is to meet the bank targets through the activities of their sales consultants and to achieve the objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance and projecting future performance.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
List the responsibilities that must be achieved and major activities that are to be carried out in order to achieve the key result areas: -
Key responsibilities
• Assist the Head to set, plan, implement and execute sales and marketing activities to achieve the targets set by Management.
• Lead, coach, motivate, train and facilitate the sales team to achieve sales target by continuous training and development of skills.
• Ensure all administration for sales is completed effectively.
• Build close rapport with pensioner associations, corporate and government agencies for sales opportunities.
• Fulfill the approved manpower of by identifying, selecting, interviewing, recruiting new talent and ability to retain existing sales staff
• Ensure all compliance and reporting requirements are met and attend to audit and/or regulatory queries within the stipulated time frame.
• Conduct regular meeting/briefing with staff on status of sales activities, achievement against targets as well as updating staff on the latest Bank’s products, policies and guidelines.
• Able to unite a team under a shared vision and have the “know-how” to continuously motivates the team members
• Undertake any other job functions, duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
• Analytical skills - They use data-driven reports to spur sales coaching sessions and empower sales consultants to take ownership of their opportunity pipelines
