We are looking for a skilled Sales Manager to join our dynamic team, based out of Bristol, Bridgend or Basingstoke, although national travel will be required.
In this role you will;
• Proactively manage the Key account team to actively participate towards driving new truck sales
• Develop and coach the Key account team to increase our share within the current customer base and a defined list of new customers
• Target, monitor and increase sales activity within an agreed KPI structure to increase coverage within the defined accounts
• Develop a customer first mentality within the key account team
• Manage and drive the completion of customer KPI meetings

Tasks and Qualifications:
Responsibilities;
- Ensure the Key Account team achieve volume, market share and coverage targets in line with the overall company objectives
- Drive the sales team performance through effective management and structured KPI’s.
- Manage the monthly forecast and three-monthly forecast and ensure the accuracy of forecast is maintained to a high level to manage the order intake effectively.
- Maintain data for all Key accounts on the Linde designated account list and produce reports on the key accounts upon request.
- Work with the BDM Team to assist on winning new business and deliver a clean handover to the Key Account Managers to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the team.
- Monitor and improve performance through effective use of the CRM system to increase efficiency of the key account team activity and performance.
- Motivate the sales team through effective management.
- Work in tandem with the territory sales managers to ensure continuity of business within the region.
- Recruitment and training of new employees when the need arises for sustainable growth or replacement of outgoing employees.
- Assist the Key account team with strategies to retain, win and grow business within the Key Account arena short and long-term.
- Review and approve the key account team order packs and ensure they adhere to company rules and policies.
- Manage the key account pipeline effectively to identify any areas of risk and implement contingency plans to mitigate identified risks.
- Support the sales team in a customer facing capacity to increase sales.
- Actively manage performance issues with the support of HR if the need arises.
- Manage and drive the completion of CDP’s with the key account team and actively identify further opportunities from the CDP process.
- Pro-active ad advance planning of renewals and implementation of Hot House initiatives
- Work on some big deals and leading the project team to win the business for the region
