Your responsibilities will be to:
Manage and Secure Existing Business: Take full responsibility for managing and securing existing business for assigned accounts
Develop and Grow Turnover & Market Share: Drive the development and growth of turnover and market share by coordinating new business opportunities
Develop Strategy: Define a middle and long-term strategy for the allocated applications and customers to ensure a profitable growth (know-how of market price, competitors, new products coming on the market…)
Collaborate with Program, Engineering, and Operations Managers to meet strategic and tactical plans for profitable growth and market leadership and ensure early engagement in advanced development activities
Lead RFQ Process: Lead the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process internally and with customers, providing offers and feedback to support growth
Improve Profitability: Enhance profitability by leading specific Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) and pricing initiatives, negotiate and monitor any price changes
Business Plan: Conduct comprehensive and collaborative business planning for forecasts and budgets
Maintain the Customer Scorecard and establish deep relationships with customer contacts
Adapt Strategies: Proactively suggest changes in strategies or services to respond to evolving market conditions
Our requirements:
Bachelor's degree from Engineering/Technical background
Ideally more than 5 years of relevant experience with customers in the automotive industry
Fluent German and English skills are mandatory
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence key stakeholders
Highly organized and systematic approach to Account Management including forecasting & planning.
Knowledge of factors affecting profit & ROI
Ability to work well independently or within a global, multi-cultural team environment
Strong selling, marketing and negotiating skills
Willingness to frequent travel globally: up to 30% of working hours
