As part of our bold growth strategy in the Benelux and UK markets, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join Arxada’s Paints & Coatings business line. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strong, long-term partnerships with customers. You will identify new opportunities, develop strategic relationships, and lead the full sales cycle: from prospecting to closing deals and signing contracts.

Location: Flexible remote within Benelux or UK
Business Line: Paints & Coatings, Business Unit of MCS

Essential Job Functions

  • Deliver on agreed financial and commercial objectives for the assigned territory and market segment
  • Actively contribute to the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing plans that increase gross profit and expand market share
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, ensuring timely and successful delivery
  • Forecast and plan demand accurately
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Continuously improve profitability through price management and optimise cash flow, handling payment terms and overdues
  • Gather and analyse market intelligence, trends, and competitive insights to inform strategy
  • Provide exceptional customer care and champion a customer-first mindset across the organisation
  • Run distributor channels effectively within the region
  • Ensure seamless coordination between customers and Arxada’s Supply Chain and Customer Service teams for accurate planning and delivery
  • Promote Arxada’s core values and lead by example in EHS compliance, fostering a culture of safety and responsibility

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Business or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Business fluency in English; Dutch language skills would be beneficial
  • Min. 5+ years of proven experience in technical sales and/or new business development
  • Experience working within complex, matrix, multinational organisations
  • Strong track record in selling technically driven products and solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in both verbal and written form
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial attitude with a passion for growth and innovation
  • Willing and able to travel internationally (up to 50%)
