📣 Sales Manager AWS

We are looking for an inspiring and strategic AWS Manager to lead our relationship with Amazon Web Services and accelerate our cloud growth in Mexico.
🎯 Position Overview
As the AWS Manager, you will serve as the key liaison between AWS and Ingram Micro. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing business initiatives, marketing programs, training strategies, and commercial models that drive the success of the AWS portfolio.
This role requires a combination of strategic vendor management, contract negotiation, analytical thinking, and team leadership to ensure the long‑term growth of our cloud business.
💡 Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic relationship between Ingram Micro Mexico and AWS to drive joint business growth.
- Develop and implement AWS business plans, marketing activities, incentive programs, and enablement strategies for partners.
- Negotiate and manage agreements, business terms, and contractual obligations with AWS.
- Resolve operational, financial, or contractual discrepancies related to vendor activities.
- Monitor AWS portfolio performance, analyze results, and create data-driven recommendations.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of professionals to meet and exceed departmental goals.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders to enable effective execution of AWS initiatives.
⭐ What You Bring to the Role
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Administration, Systems Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Robotics, or related fields).
- 5 years of experience managing IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) solutions.
- 5 years of experience at a management level.
- 5 years of experience managing marketplaces and digital platforms.
- 5 years of commercial/sales experience in the technology sector, preferably in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google, Microsoft).
- English - Fluent
- Strong experience negotiating with vendors and managing contracts.
- Knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, cloud commercial models, channels, and partners (preferred).
- Ability to resolve complex issues and make autonomous operational decisions.
- Strong influencing and relationship-building skills across multiple teams.
- Analytical mindset, strong business acumen, and results-oriented approach.
