Job Description:

Country Sales Director & Legal Responsible

Purpose

Lead sales activities and act as the legal representative of HPE in the country, ensuring alignment with the Cluster Managing Director and overall HPE strategy. Serve as a central cultural figure, uniting employees and fostering engagement across all departments.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Business Strategy

  • Develop and manage country growth plan.
  • Communicate and align local business with HPE’s overall strategy.
  • Lead location strategy and site consolidation.

Sales Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate all sales activities.
  • Set quotas, develop sales tactics, manage pipeline, and drive revenue.
  • Build customer and partner relationships, and engage C-level customers.
  • Develop sales talent and foster a performance-driven culture.

Legal Responsibility

  • Act as legal representative for HPE in the country.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and corporate policies.
  • Support HR with work councils/unions and handle compliance escalations.

Fiduciary Duties

  • Own P&L, forecasts, and act as financial signatory.
  • Fulfill fiduciary duties to HPE and shareholders.

Crisis Management

  • Lead crisis and business continuity management.
  • Oversee Environment, Health & Safety compliance.

Business Operations

  • Lead country management team and reviews.
  • Align resources, marketing, and innovation initiatives with global strategy.

Employee Engagement

  • Drive engagement, performance reviews, and talent management.
  • Communicate regularly with employees and reinforce culture.

Culture

  • Act as a central figure uniting all departments across the country.
  • Lead country-wide cultural activities.
  • Promote collaboration and shared identity across the organization.
  • Represent HPE in relevant local cultural activities and events.

External Stakeholders

  • Represent HPE with government, industry, and media.

Skills & Experience Needed

  • 10–15 years industry experience; 5–10 years in sales leadership.
  • Proven track record in growing business.
  • Strong strategic sales planning, P&L management, and financial acumen
  • Deep industry/vertical knowledge,
  • Strong leadership, change management, and C-level engagement skills.
  • Ability to foster a culture and unite diverse teams under a common vision.
