Sales Intern – Business Development Team

Location: Shanghai / Shenzhen
Work Mode: Hybrid
Type: Full‑time Internship (preferred: senior-year undergraduate or graduate students from top‑tier universities)

Role Summary

As a Sales Intern in Payoneer’s Business Development team, you will be part of a high‑impact, fast‑growing commercial organization driving Payoneer’s expansion in China. This internship is designed as an early‑career pathway for developing future sales talent.

You will gain first-hand experience in commercial engagement, customer management, and go‑to‑market execution in the fast-growing cross-border business. In this role, you will work closely with sales managers and sales admins across regions, explore new technologies, build strong presentation and communication capabilities, and develop practical skills that prepare you for a successful career in fintech sales.

What You’ll Do

  • Support BD and Sales Managers in commercial activities, including customer outreach, follow-ups, and engagement initiatives
  • Participate in customer meetings, onsite visits, and business reviews to understand operational needs and Payoneer’s value proposition
  • Conduct analysis of sales pipelines, customer performance, and market trends to support decision-making
  • Assist with preparing presentation materials, product demos, and business proposals
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Product, Risk, Operations) to help execute GTM campaigns
  • Help identify new business opportunities, potential customer segments, and growth initiatives
  • Explore and understand emerging tools, AI technologies, and digital sales methodologies
  • Handle day‑to‑day operational tasks related to customer handling and sales processes (without assistant labeling; full ownership encouraged)
  • Contribute to internal documentation, reports, and workflow improvements for the sales team

Who You Are

  • Currently enrolled university student who will graduate before September 2027 (senior undergraduate or current graduate student preferred)
  • Curious, proactive, and willing to experiment in a fast‑changing environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with customers
  • A fast learner with interest in fintech, cross‑border eCommerce, or digital technologies
  • Analytical mindset with basic data skills (Excel, Sheets, BI tools are a plus)
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently
  • Strong sense of ownership and a collaborative team player
  • Able to commit to a 3–6 month internship (preferred)
