About the Role
FIS is seeking a driven and strategic Sales Executive to lead new business development for our insurance technology solutions across Iberia (Spain & Portugal). Based in London, you’ll work closely with insurers aiming to modernize actuarial risk management systems, increase operational efficiency, and stay ahead of evolving regulatory and customer demands in the Iberian market.

Our offerings span policy administration, billing, claims, actuarial modelling, risk management, compliance, data & analytics, and cloud‑enabled infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new client acquisition across Spain and Portugal focusing on insurers.
  • Build, manage, and progress a high‑quality pipeline of opportunities across the entire sales cycle.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans tailored to Iberian insurance market trends and client needs.
  • Engage senior‑level stakeholders (COOs, CIOs, Heads of Operations, Transformation Leads) to understand operational challenges and position FIS solutions effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with product, solutions, pre‑sales, and delivery teams to build compelling client proposals.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activity within Dynamics CRM and provide regular reports on pipeline health and performance.
  • Stay current on the Iberian regulatory landscape, competitive environment, and macro‑market developments.
  • Promote the full portfolio of FIS insurance and risk management solutions.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven track record of sales success in financial services or insurance technology, ideally within the Iberian market.
  • Strong understanding of insurance operations, actuarial risk management systems, and regulatory considerations in Spain and Portugal.
  • Fluent Spanish and English (Portuguese a strong plus).
  • A well‑established network across Iberian insurers, brokers, or technology partners.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
  • A consultative, client‑centric approach with experience presenting complex solutions to decision‑makers.
