Individual Contributor Role Overview We are hiring Sales Executives to drive on-ground and outbound sales for Paytm’s Order & Pay QR solution across mid-sized and large restaurants. Paytm’s Order & Pay product is a QR-based ordering and payment platform designed to modernize the dine-in experience for restaurants while directly improving their revenue and operational efficiency. In the current restaurant environment, guests often face delays in ordering and billing, while restaurants rely heavily on staff for order-taking and lack direct access to customer data. At the same time, aggregators dominate online ordering, limiting restaurants’ control over pricing, margins, and customer relationships. Order & Pay addresses these gaps by enabling a seamless “scan, browse, order, and pay” experience directly from the guest’s phone, integrated with the restaurant’s existing operational workflows. Unlike standalone QR payment solutions or basic POS, Paytm’s platform combines ordering, payments, marketing, and analytics into a single ecosystem. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for taking this value proposition to market, engaging with restaurant owners and operators, and demonstrating how the product can drive tangible improvements in revenue and margins. This is a high-ownership role within a fast-growing business, offering the opportunity to contribute directly to building Paytm’s restaurant presence in the region.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Product Pitching
● Identify and reach out to target restaurants and chains
● Build a qualified sales pipeline
● Conduct field visits and meetings
● Deliver compelling pitch and demos of Order & Pay solution
● Address merchant concerns and objections
2. Deal Closure & Relationship Management
● Negotiate commercials and close deals
● Coordinate with internal teams for contracting and onboarding
● Build strong relationships with restaurant managers, owners, and ops teams
● Ensure smooth handover to onboarding team
3. Market Intelligence
● Track competitor offerings
● Provide feedback on pricing, product, and objections Ideal Candidate Profile
● 2–5 years of experience in: B2B sales / field sales / SaaS / fintech
● Experience in restaurant / hospitality / POS / payments sales is a plus
● Strong communication and persuasion skills
● Comfortable with field sales and merchant interactions
