Broadridge is seeking a salesperson to drive revenue through sales of our Institutional Governance and Global Class Actions solutions to asset managers and institutional investors.

The ideal candidate will bring a successful sales track record and senior relationships across asset management and asset owners, with proxy voting, class actions, and corporate governance experience. Demonstrated negotiation and closing skills are important. In addition, strong collaborative skills will be required to drive desired support and outcome from key stakeholders across Broadridge.

                                                                                                                                               

General Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account-based sales strategies, collaborating with internal teams to drive deals to closure consistently and effectively
  • Build and manage sales pipeline to ensure sales attainment
  • Drive the sales process from origination through to close, including qualification, product demonstration, executive presentations, proposal development, and contract negotiation, working with Business leadership, Product, Legal and Finance as appropriate
  • Partner with Product and Marketing to refine product messaging, drive increased awareness in market, and to bring feedback to key stakeholders
  • Develop documents, analysis and presentations based on specific sales needs for customers and prospects and for internal use. Respond to RFI/RFPs where appropriate.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry-related events to promote Broadridge offerings, growing industry presence and brand awareness

Specification & Qualifications

This position will be filled by an experienced candidate with exceptional drive, with the following skills and experience to be prioritized:

  • 10+ years of sales experience and success
  • Experience and expertise in proxy voting, class actions, and/or corporate governance
  • Strong existing network of senior relationships within asset managers and asset owners
  • Ability to build, foster, and maintain key relationships at senior levels
  • Ability to effectively navigate complex organizations
  • Proven track record of success in achieving/exceeding sales quotas
  • Ability to achieve sales results both individually and in collaboration with others
  • Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills
  • Professional approach and demeanor and ability to represent Broadridge well internally and externally
  • Ability to take a consultative sales approach to problem solving with prospective clients
  • Well-organized, detail oriented, self-motivated and the ability to work well independently and remotely
  • Strong time-management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple projects at a time
  • Strong technical foundation; ability to use CRM, MS Office, social tools, etc.
  • Willing to travel frequently for clients and prospect meetings.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $125,000.00- $150,000.00 USD.

Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
