Your position

As a Sales Engineer your main functions/ tasks will be:

  • Establishing new, and maintaining existing customers contacts;
  • Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions;
  • Able to clarify concept and proposal to the customers;
  • Composition of complexity offers, preparing quotation documents for regular projects <€ 5MM;
  • Making a proper selection of equipment and coordinate layout engineering;
  • Working simultaneously on restricted number of projects;

Your profile

As a Sales Engineer within Vanderlande Spain, we are looking for a person with the follow experience and skills:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position within an environment of industrial projects;
  • Understanding of how to contact and loyalty key decision-makers;
  • Strong analytical skills, the ability to use your logistic skills in analyzing and understanding customer processes, creating concept solutions;
  • Skills in CAD programs (Autocad, Solid Works, etc) and office computer systems;
  • Strong communicational skills and a creative approach to build professional client relationships;
  • Ability to work within an international work environment, especially working within a project organization;
  • Excellent language skills in English, both verbal and written, and a high level of Spanish;
  • Decision-making capabilities;
  • Self-driven and with strong spoken and written communication skills;
  • Results oriented;
  • Willing to travel;
