The Opportunity

Validation Cloud is seeking a Sales Engineer to accelerate revenue growth across our suite of blockchain infrastructure products including Mavrik: Data x AI, Node API, and Staking.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with our Business Development team to win new customers and expand existing relationships. You’ll translate technical capabilities into compelling business value, design scalable solutions for blockchain networks and enterprises, and help drive strategic deals that fuel our growth.

This is a high-impact, customer-facing position that blends technical depth with commercial acumen, ideal for someone who can think strategically, communicate persuasively, and execute quickly in a fast-moving, global market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Business Development to qualify opportunities, scope technical requirements, and design solutions that drive revenue growth.
  • Lead technical discovery, presentations, demos, and proofs-of-concept that showcase how Validation Cloud’s infrastructure solves customer pain points.
  • Translate complex technical details into clear business outcomes that resonate with decision-makers — from developers to executives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to ensure customer feedback informs roadmap priorities and feature development.
  • Support proposal creation, RFP responses, and pricing discussions, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with customer goals.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value accounts, blockchain ecosystems, and growth opportunities, contributing to GTM and expansion strategy.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with protocol teams, enterprises, and developer communities to drive long-term adoption.
  • Represent Validation Cloud at industry events, conferences, and ecosystem meetups, evangelizing our infrastructure capabilities.
  • Track key metrics and report on pipeline progress, conversion rates, and customer implementation success.

About You

  • A commercially minded technologist who thrives at the intersection of sales, product, and strategy.
  • Strong communicator and storyteller, capable of engaging both deeply technical audiences and executive stakeholders.
  • Passionate about blockchain infrastructure, developer ecosystems, and the future of on-chain applications.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and energized by closing deals and delivering impact.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Business Development, ideally in blockchain, AI, cloud, or API-based infrastructure.
  • Proven track record supporting complex, high-value sales cycles and helping close enterprise or protocol-level deals.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain infrastructure, RPC/API systems, staking, and multi-chain architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Sales to shape deal strategy, structure solutions, and communicate technical value.
  • Familiarity with Go-to-Market execution, CRM tracking, and post-sale success coordination.
