Location: Uzbekistan, Tashkent
Remote (with domestic travel up to 40%)

Purpose of Role: The Sales Engineer plays a critical role in driving sustainable growth for Weir ESCO across the Uzbekistan market. This role combines technical expertise with commercial insight to develop customer partnerships, unlock new opportunities, and grow market share in the mining industry. You will have the autonomy to shape regional sales strategies while working with a global organization that is redefining how essential resources are delivered. Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue, profitability, and market share growth across core and complementary Weir ESCO products and services within the assigned region.

  • Build strong customer relationships by understanding operational challenges, providing accurate quotations, and delivering technically sound, value-driven solutions.

  • Develop and maintain strategic business plans, working closely with management to define and execute sales strategies aligned with local market needs.

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and internal stakeholders to support demand planning and inventory targets.

  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales, commercial, or market growth roles, with at least 5 years’ experience in the mining industry.

  • Strong computer skills, including experience with ERP systems and MS Office.

  • Proficiency in Uzbek, Russian, and English (minimum B2 level).

Must be permanently authorised to work in the country to which you are applying, without sponsorship.
