Are you a technical expert ready to transform the construction landscape with innovative software solutions? Trimble is seeking a Pre-sales Engineer to bring their industry expertise to the forefront, delivering cutting-edge technical solutions and supporting the digital evolution of our customers.
What Makes This Role Great:
In this influential role, you will act as one of the primary technical authorities for our AECO UK Sales Engineering team, directly supporting existing and new business bids and tenders. You will have the unique opportunity to optimally position our structural solutions—predominantly Tekla Structural Designer and Tekla Tedds—showcasing how existing customers and potential clients leverage our design software to design the structural and civil landscape around us.
Key Exciting Responsibilities:
Deliver technical brilliance in pre-sales and post-sales environments, conducting high-impact consultancy calls and software demonstrations for the Tekla portfolio
Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop compelling use cases, webinars, and technical materials that showcase the added value of our solutions
Act as an on-site technical expert at major industry events and conferences to engage with the construction community
Collaborate directly with product teams to communicate customer feedback and suggest critical product developments or improvements
Provide expert technical support and best-practice advice to ensure customers achieve maximum ROI from their construction software
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience working within the construction industry with a deep understanding of structural design modelling
Hands-on knowledge of structural design software, preferably Tekla TSD and Tekla Tedds however equivalents are welcome
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to transmit complex information accurately to diverse audiences
Foundational understanding of the sales cycle and a proactive, self-motivated approach to collaborative work
Bonus Points For:
Proven track record in a technical pre-sales environment specifically within the AECO sector
Established ability to build strong relationships between technical and commercial stakeholders
Logistics:
Location: Leeds, Newcastle, Milton Keynes, London or UK - Remote
Travel Requirement: Up to 25%
