Sales Enablement Manager - Strategic Programs

Ohio (US) 1 - Remote 100% Full time

 The Sales Enablement Manager – Strategic Programs will play a critical role in executing the Covetrus Sales Enablement strategy by delivering consistent, measurable, and scalable enablement experiences for our customer-facing sales teams. This individual will report to the Director, Sales Enablement and will be responsible for supporting enablement programs that improve sales readiness, process adherence, content effectiveness, and tool adoption for Covetrus strategic programs and partnerships such as VetSuite, Alliance Plus, Enterprise, Animalytix. This individual will be instrumental in establishing a formal training program and advising support from L&D for training of our commercial sales teams. The position requires close collaboration with sales, marketing, customer services, L&D, analytics, and product teams to streamline execution, enhance knowledge transfer, and drive commercial team performance.

JOB SPECIFICATION

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage and distribute enablement content (e.g. playbooks, battle cards, talk tracks, scripts, templates) through centralized platforms.
  • Track adoption and effectiveness of enablement programs and resources using surveys, LMS data, and sales performance metrics.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales Ops, Analytics, Marketing, L&D, and Product) to ensure timely, relevant enablement aligned to business priorities.
  • Reinforce Covetrus sales methodology and best practices across all sales motions (discovery, qualification, close)
  • Coordinate and support sales readiness efforts, field communication, and product knowledge campaigns.
  • Serve as an advocate for the field, continuously capturing feedback to improve content, delivery, and enablement execution.
  • Support execution of seller-facing training initiatives and readiness programs, ensuring alignment of GTM launches and strategic priorities.
  • Curate and maintain centralized enablement asset library to ensure version control, accessibility, and usage.
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement leadership on ongoing needs assessments and content gap analysis.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting KPIs tied to sales productivity, content utilization, and program success.
  • Keep pulse on market trends as well as competitive landscape and identify strategies to enable market leadership.
  • Lead the development of training and technical marketing strategies, preparing courses and marketing plans with clear tactics and KPIs, which drive accelerated growth with the sales team.
  • Develop impactful training content, support materials and presentation content enabling team to “train the trainer” to enable sales representatives.
  • Enable focused campaigns and initiatives to promote our portfolio across all aspects of the customer journey.

QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient with computer programs: all Microsoft Office products, SFDC.
  • Establishes operational objectives to determine success
  • Experience supporting sales teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Commercial leaders.
  • Works in a team environment, sharing best practice and collaborates cross-functionally across other departments.
  • 5+ years in sales operations, sales enablement, sales training, or related field.
  • Knowledge/experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel <25%

Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. Sales Positions are eligible for a Variable Incentive.

The pay range for this position is as follows:

$86,300-$123,300
