The Events & Seismic team within Personal Investor & AWM Marketing is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Sales Enablement Content Specialist to strengthen how Vanguard creates, manages, and delivers client-facing content at scale. This operational role ensures that marketing materials are timely, compliant, and aligned with business priorities—enabling impactful, insight-driven experiences for clients and advisors.

In addition to being a key partner to business stakeholders, this role not only supports content development and governance but also provides operational support for Seismic, a powerful sales enablement and content management tool. You will assist with platform roadmap development, coordinate onboarding schedules for new users, and lead testing and adoption of new features to maximize system capabilities. In addition, you’ll champion process improvements and suggest enhancements that drive efficiency and scalability. This dual focus—marketing production and platform optimization—ensures that content delivery is seamless, compliant, and aligned with business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Execute content strategy and lifecycle management in partnership with business areas, including backlog prioritization, creative development, and rollout planning.

  • Serve as a point of contact for Seismic, helping to manage vendor collaboration, content migration, automation, and system optimization.

  • Ensure compliance and brand integrity by maintaining accurate, approved, and up-to-date content aligned with legal and regulatory standards.

  • Measure and optimize content performance, leveraging analytics and user feedback to inform continuous improvement.

  • Design and implement scalable processes that reduce redundancy, improve time-to-market, and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Partner with internal teams to develop automation workflows and streamline data integration (e.g., formatting and importing content into Seismic).

  • Identify opportunities to expand Seismic’s impact across marketing and sales enablement, driving adoption and innovation.

  • Create clear, engaging, and brand-consistent content for client and advisor audiences, applying Vanguard’s style and tone guidelines.

  • Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of experience in sales enablement, content strategy, marketing operations, or a related field.

  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively, with experience creating and managing client-facing content.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS); Seismic platform experience highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with compliance and governance processes in a regulated industry.

  • Experience with automation workflows and data integration.

  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Workfront).

  • Ability to analyze engagement data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
