Job Description:
Datasite is building next-generation private market intelligence products, and we are seeking a Sales Director to accelerate revenue for a suite of products designed for financial services clients. The Datasite Sales Director will be responsible for selling recurring, subscription-based solutions to hedge funds, private equity firms, investment banks, asset managers, and other institutional investors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Own net-new and expansion revenue for Datasite’s suite of market intelligence products
• Build and manage an enterprise pipeline
• Help define sales enablement, playbooks, and repeatable motions as the business scales
• Engage senior client stakeholders including PMs, MDs, CIOs, Heads of Data, and Heads of Research
• Negotiate and execute multi-year, subscription-based contracts
• Work closely with Product, Data Science, Legal, and Marketing while delivering structured market feedback to inform roadmap, product packaging, contract terms, and commercialization strategy
• Identify new verticals and buyer personas for existing and new intelligence products
• Contribute to thought leadership, client events, and strategic partnerships in the data ecosystem
What you Bring:
• 5-10+ years of enterprise sales experience in financial data, analytics, or information services
• Proven success selling subscription-based, licensable data products
• Experience closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals ($250k–$1M+ ARR)
• Deep understanding of financial services and investment workflows
• Excellent presentation and client communication skills
• Ongoing ability to learn new products and services
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivation to achieve desired results
