What You'll Bring:

You’ll bring your tenacity and leadership expertise along with at least 10years’ experience within the Commercial industry.  

  • A good technical understanding of the role of data and analytics in the Commercial space.

  • Excellent business and financial acumen which includes reporting, budgets, ROI, strategy and forecasting.

  • Must have the ability to engage with “C” suite level audience.

  • Possess diverse commercial and deal structuring acumen.

  • Extensive management and leadership expertise with the ability to motivate and inspire the team

  • An innovative mindset.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in sales; full knowledge of the product lines and its applications, a strong knowledge of TU operations and experience.

  • Proven success in a role as a strategic thinker with strong communication, analytical, and problem solving skills. 

  • Ability to interact with and influence senior management based upon business insight.

  • Proven ability to communicate to multiple audiences in written, verbal and presentation format.

  • Proven ability to influence others to gain acceptance of difficult or innovative ideas or concepts.

Impact You'll Make:

  • You will be responsible for leading the Auto Sales team. You will work with the leadership team to define long term and short term strategies with transformational ideas to achieve and surpass growth objectives of the business unit.  You will lead complex pricing and contract negotiations for assigned clients.

  • Increasing market share with existing customers, maximizing penetration in markets held by the competition and fostering partnerships with new and existing customers.

  • Ensure account penetration by increasing depth and breadth of TU solutions across customer organizations.

  • Connects major client accounts and new clients to TU’s solutions with real impact and measurable results by developing business value analysis and providing strategic advice.

  • Participates in and/or ensure quality in customer engagements with the most strategic customers and deliver increased customer satisfaction and better opportunities for TU.

  • Drives forward client adoption of TransUnion solutions through a deep understanding of strategic and reseller partnerships.

  • Manage sales teams to effectively deliver value and TU strategy within our clients and enhancing our customers’ experience.  Applies sound judgment to independently guide staff, if applicable, coordinate resource involvement, minimize and/or eliminate obstacles in sales and successful delivery of products and services to customers.Will need to lead training to align and ensure team competency and capability meet the required standards

  • Work with sales teams to develop alternate sales strategies on stalled opportunities. Review achievements against objectives and analyzes programs for effectiveness modifying where necessary to drive results.

  • Guarantees team alignment, communication and resolution of any issue between business groups. Collaborates with Senior Management in forming and implementing plans to identify opportunities for existing and new business that result in increasing market share and profitability.

  • Builds a network of industry resources and represents the organization by attending industry conferences to identify / explore new business opportunities.  Keep abreast of industry, legal, and competitive trends and understands their impact on company objectives.  Work closely with internal TU associates and customers to understand and communicate industry legislation and market impact to ensure adherence to compliance regulations. 

  • Provide thought leadership role to TU organization on new product innovation, industry opportunities specific to client businesses.  Is an acknowledged leader through demonstrated results in building organization capabilities, modeling and coaching sales excellence, possessing client passion and expertise, demanding delivery of results. Effectively works across the TU business groups to facilitate individual and corporate business objectives. Leads with alignment, gains trust and is acknowledged as creating win-win situations.   Experienced in managing and leading in matrix structure.  Develop best practice sharing within team and across TU organization to improve efficiencies and knowledge transfer.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
