The Director of Sales position is responsible for managing and overseeing sales operations within North America with a primary focus on meeting and exceeding growth for this region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for delivering the GROWTH Plan: Sales & EBITDA for the Healthcare
North America business.
2. Develop & implement business plan which supports budget achievement and business
segment strategy.
3. Lead NA sales team in building relationships at all levels of Top Tier customers and potential customers to support improved profitability and growth.
4. Anticipate market trends and customer needs while properly supporting team to best position Amcor’s capabilities verses competition.
5. Work with other Support Group leaders of Customer Service, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and Human Resources as sales escalation path to help meet the Healthcare segment business targets.
6. Motivate sales team to ensure expected sales targets are met and achieved
7. Coordinate and train sales team on new techniques to advance projects
8. Coordinate and lead bi-weekly sales meetings to track pipeline growth and sales deliverables.
9. Develop, maintain and execute key account strategy plans to drive growth and
Innovation.
10. Prepare sales reports to Vice President weekly on current pipeline, projects and concerns where escalation could be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education & experience
Having a full understanding of various plastic molding processes
3. 10+ years outside sales experience in Healthcare or related market
4. Remote work position
5. Self-starter that is results oriented and works with minimal supervision
6. Excellent communication & presentation skills; ability to work cross-functionally to drive
business solutions
7. Ability to travel up to 60%
8. Well-developed negotiation and contract management skills
9. Proficient computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office applications like PowerPoint, etc.
10. Innovative with strong project management & organizational skills
11. Ability to quickly & proficiently learn new products and technologies
12. Bi-lingual preferred but not mandatory as role would cover oversight of Mexico Region.
