Role Summary: 

Payoneer is looking for a Sales Development Representative, Korea to join an extremely fast-growing global Fintech business. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in Payoneer’s business success, focusing on our biggest and most promising prospects in the Asia Pacific region.

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will maintain and manage SQL quota across defined Asia Pacific markets and report to the Head of Inside Sales. The SDR will be responsible for lead generation activities and will liaise closely with the Sales and Marketing teams. The candidate will seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Generate new leads for Payoneer to pursue according to the profile of our key clients and verticals; identifying and qualifying leads, run lead generation activities and drive engagement to generate a sales qualified lead (SQL) for the Sales team
  • Identify and qualify relevant prospects and identify the right contact person from each company or enhancing data using external data sources; engage prospects with an introduction on the Payoneer value proposition and further segmenting opportunities based on their size, potential and strategic relevance
  • Support Sales managers’ post-sales operational workflows, including contract handling, payment method setup, account configuration, and coordination with the sales team to ensure a smooth onboarding process
  • Guide new customers through their first successful transaction, providing clear instructions on account setup, service usage, and initial product education
  • Monitor the progress leading to the customer’s first incoming payment, identifying potential bottlenecks and coordinating with internal teams across APAC and global functions to resolve them
  • Support operational tasks after customers begin transacting, including settlement questions, product enablement, and ongoing issue resolution
  • Manage the formal handover of activated customers to the Customer Success team, documenting all relevant background, requirements, and outstanding items to ensure a seamless transition
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Compliance, and Customer Success, leveraging Salesforce and internal tools to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree (business-related field preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in sales operations, account management, customer experience, or related fields
  • Experience in payments, fintech, or technology services is a strong advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple cultures and markets in APAC
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and comfort coordinating across global and regional teams
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented approach to managing tasks
  • Fluency in English & Mandarin
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools preferred
