As Sales Development Associate Manager, you will support the Sales Development & Support Manager in driving both retail network development and structured sales performance governance across the country. You will contribute to retail expansion and productivity optimization through data-driven analyses and business case support, while also overseeing the KPI framework and performance monitoring of sales incentive programs. Acting as a key analytical partner to Sales, you will ensure performance transparency, accurate tracking of results, and alignment between commercial objectives and incentive outcomes. This role blends retail strategy, network performance analysis, and incentive governance to enable sustainable and profitable growth across Italy.
What you’ll do:
Support the definition and execution of retail network expansion strategies, providing analytical insights on territorial potential, store productivity, and market opportunities.
Contribute to business cases for new openings, relocations, and network optimization, assessing financial sustainability, sales forecasts, and ROI impact.
Analyse store-level economics, sales density, product mix evolution, and network productivity to identify growth levers and improvement areas.
Develop structured retail performance reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to monitor network effectiveness and support strategic decision-making.
Define and maintain KPI frameworks supporting sales incentive programs, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with commercial targets.
Perform pre-period target validation, ongoing performance tracking, and monthly and quarterly monitoring of incentive results.
Execute accurate incentive calculations and validation checks in collaboration with Finance, ensuring compliance with business rules and budget constraints.
Prepare detailed dashboards and executive summaries for Area Managers and senior leadership, highlighting achievement levels, performance gaps, and corrective action areas.
Conduct scenario analyses and performance simulations to assess the impact of incentive mechanisms on sales productivity and profitability.
Ensure data accuracy, governance, and traceability across incentive tracking and retail KPI reporting.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance and People teams to ensure alignment between retail targets, incentive outcomes, and P&L objectives.
Contribute to the continuous evolution of retail analytics tools, reporting processes, and performance governance models to increase scalability and decision-making effectiveness.
What you’ll bring:
Proven experience in retail performance analysis, commercial strategy, or sales performance roles within structured retail organizations.
Strong understanding of retail economics, network development logic, and store-level P&L dynamics.
Solid experience in sales incentive monitoring, KPI governance, and performance tracking, including calculation logic and results validation.
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to manage simulations, scenario analyses, and complex data sets.
Ability to translate data into strategic and operational recommendations for field management.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (modeling, advanced formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint for executive reporting.
Knowledge of Oracle and/or Qlik is considered a plus.
