The Sales Coordinator supports the Strategic Account Management team who represent Maritz Global Events to existing and prospective clients. The Sales Coordinator will support the life cycle of a program from sales documentation creation and proper recording processes to communication of program specifications with operational departments, gathering documentation for forecasting, pace reporting, hotel pickup/commission liaison, site visit coordination, lead form completion, final invoice review, and any other general administrative tasks.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prepare, revise, route, and finalize MSAs, SOWs, ATPs, and Change Orders, managing version control and approval workflows.
  • Partner with Sales and operational teams to confirm pricing, scope, and services align with approved contract terms.
  • Create and maintain pacing, pickup, commission, and rebate reporting, tracking trends, minimums, and potential risks.
  • Support accurate and timely commission and rebate payments by partnering with Finance, Event Accounting, and Collections teams.
  • Build and maintain Excel‑based tools including reconciliation files, calculators, forecasting workbooks, and client‑ready analysis.
  • Validate data accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and standardize templates to improve efficiency and reduce rework.
  • Manage intake of requests from Sales and internal partners by clarifying requirements, prioritizing deadlines, and coordinating deliverables.
  • Support planning and coordination of site visits, including itineraries, logistics tracking, and stakeholder communication.

What You’ll Bring

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Intermediate Excel skills with experience building, validating, and reconciling reporting tools.
  • Working understanding of contracts (MSAs, SOWs, Change Orders) and how terms impact revenue, commissions, and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven ability to review, audit, and correct work.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests with competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and ability to collaborate across Sales, Finance, and Operations teams.

Nice To Have

  • Experience using AI‑enabled tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Excel automation) to improve efficiency.
  • Familiarity with sales operations, hotel operations, events, or commission‑based environments.
  • Exposure to pacing, pickup, forecasting, or revenue‑related reporting.
  • Interest in process improvement and standardizing templates, tools, or workflows.

Working Logistics & Things You Should Know

  • This is a Virtual role.
  • Travel is minimal and may occur occasionally to support site visits or cross‑functional activity.
  • The following states are excluded for residence: Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, , and Washington.
