We are searching high and low for a fantastic Sales Consultant for our Oxford Street Merchants division—and it might just be you!

Adult Beverage or Hospitality experience preferred, but not required

What we’re really looking for is curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn!

This role services a large Northern Minnesota territory including Duluth and surrounding outstate areas (Duluth, Ely, Hibbing, Grand Marais, Cloquet, and beyond). This position requires extensive driving, so candidates should be comfortable with significant windshield time.

This role supports both retail (off-premise) and on-premise accounts, providing a dynamic and varied sales environment.
 

Position Duties

Territory Management:

  • Ensure consistent customer contact across assigned accounts
  • Properly plan and execute sales initiatives
  • Handle all customer-related issues in a prompt and friendly manner

Selling:

  • Maintain full understanding of products and pricing schedules
  • Deliver effective sales presentations
  • Achieve assigned company objectives and successfully grow business
  • Identify and develop new account opportunities

Merchandising:

  • Utilize all available POS to enhance selling efforts
  • Execute merchandising fundamentals including display placement, shelf positioning, cold box execution, and other in-store opportunities

Servicing:

  • Follow established procedures during sales calls
  • Perform accurate inventory checks and communicate effectively to minimize order errors
  • Ensure proper product rotation across shelves, displays, and cold boxes

Administration:

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

Position Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or relevant industry experience
  • Prior route sales experience (highly preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Results-driven with a goal-oriented mindset
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
  • Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs
  • Local candidates preferred (no relocation package offered)

Compensation:
Earning potential of $50,000–$75,000+ annually, based on recent sales performance data from our current team.
