This role is perfect for a professional who thrives on complex, engineered solutions for sustained power, heating, and cooling needs. You'll be responsible for deep technical discovery, collaborative solution development, and building strong, multi-level stakeholder relationships across varying sales cycles. We need someone who can expertly manage opportunities from short-term solution rentals to complex, multi-year long-term solutions, demonstrating exceptional adaptability and a diverse skill set in both new business development and existing account expansion.
What you'll do:
Spend approx every 2nd week travelling throughout the SA region visiting our clients and building key relationships across Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals & Refinery (PCR) and Data Centre industries
Develop new customers, promoting our range or short term to very long term power generation and temperature control solutions
Elevate the business’s customer experience by delivering expert assistance in addressing technical inquiries via the sales department
Support our clients across the entire scope of sales - business development and product introduction, covering project design, and project/site delivery
Formulate a technical application sales plan for allocated region, with a focus on advising clients of the breadth of our range and hybrid and low emissions solutions.
Accelerate new products utilisation, responsible for allocated budget and growth goals
Liaise with Aggreko technicians, and management to provide technical solutions both low and high voltage applications
You are:
Proven in a similar B2B sales or business development role in an industrial environment
Technically proficiency with industrial products related to power generation, heating and/or cooling
Experienced in both account management and new business development
Strongly analytical with excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration abilities
Dedicated to safety, quality, and customer experience
Familiar with and have an understanding of factors critical for successful new product introduction and integration
