Senior Relationship Manager – Sales Associate II

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Retiree Benefits team at Victor in the new position of Senior Relationship Manager. This hybrid role will be based in Mississauga Ontario with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Senior Relationship Manager  executes sales goals by maintaining a large book of business that includes complex employer and advisor networks and high-yield association accounts. You will work in close collaboration with retiree benefit leaders on client engagement involving strategic sales methodologies. You are great at client retention and customer satisfaction.

We will count on you to:
Use digital and telemarketing channels and marketing communications to engage prospects and generate new business.

  • Conduct monthly business performance analysis and develop strategies to drive growth.
  • Create and deliver sales proposals, presentations, webinars, videos, newsletters, and partner communications tailored to complex prospect needs.
  • Perform market and industry research to identify targets for new relationships and expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and account representatives to support product introductions, deeper market penetration, and service satisfaction.

What you need to have:

  • Quick, efficient decision-maker who generates innovative solutions and adapts effectively to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; comfortable creating client-ready materials and supporting sales processes; hold or ability to obtain a life license within 12 months of hire.
  • Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years’ insurance sales experience (group benefits

preferred); familiarity with life, disability, underwriting, and healthcare

insurance may be considered.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);

High emotional intelligence with adaptability and strong relationship-building skills.

  • Consistent track record to build, maintain and expand effective professional relationships across multiple partner groups
  • Demonstrated ability to use digital and telemarketing strategies to drive sales outcomes.
  • Experience developing persuasive proposals, presentations, and multi-channel communications.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess monthly business results and translate findings into growth strategies.
  • Availability to travel average 2 days per week and as needed.

  • Life Insurance license will be required within 12 months if not already held

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
