Title: Sales Assistant II (CarelonRx Puerto Rico)
Location: Carelon Global Solutions Puerto Rico building located at 1001 San Roberto St., STE 101, 401, & 501, San Juan, PR.
Onsite: This role requires associates to work from the posted locations full-time, enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. This policy promotes an environment built on in-person interaction, communication, and immediate support.

The Sales Assistant II is responsible for advanced administrative support to Group or Individual sales force.
Primary duties may include, but not limited to:
Provides phone support.
Processes mail and maintains supplies.
Prepares and logs proposals.
Researches and resolves moderately complex claim and benefit issues.
Assembles and distributes open enrollment packets.
Gathers, inputs, and tracks sales data.
Generates sales reports.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or a GED equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background required.
Preferred Skills/Experience/Education:
Experience in a healthcare setting (pharmacy, clinic, or medical office) with basic knowledge of medications and patient therapies highly preferred.
Strong communication skills and professional presence, comfortable interacting with patients and demanding physician offices highly preferred.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment highly preferred.
Team player with a problem-solving mindset, able to “triage” issues between Operations, patients, medical offices, and health plans highly preferred.
Strong sense of ownership and initiative, willing to go beyond the minimum and take the lead in finding solutions highly preferred.
