The Lead - Sales Analytics develops, and maintains dashboards, reports, analytical tools, and insight gathering from across all Salesforce Objects and integrated platforms. Ensures the right data is being collected to provide insights and drive and improve financial and strategic sales/marketing initiatives. The Business Intelligence Manager also provides data gathering inclusive but not limited to Competitive Analysis, Prospect Intel, and Market Insights.
Job Description
- Prepare accurate recurring and as-needed reports using data from internal and external sources
- Responsible for developing, maintaining, supporting, and upgrading reports and dashboards
- Collects, analyzes, and reports sales and marketing data from different data sources, including but not limited to CRM Software, Marketing Automation Platforms, Account-Based Marketing Platforms, other internal and external sources, etc.
- Provides actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing teams based on data gathered
- Develop methods and strategies for assessing large amounts of data
- Gather and analyze data to understand problems and proactively make recommendations to address them
- Review historical sales and marketing data to determine trends in productivity
- Contributes to the development of sales plans and objectives and assists senior leadership in monitoring and evaluating sales and marketing performance
- Responsible for monitoring and analyzing competitive activity, customer, and market trends
- Forecasting potential revenue, sales bookings, pipeline and marketing leads and determine sales potential and make recommendations
- Collaborate with team members and members of other departments
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
- Experience in sales and marketing analysis, FP&A, or as Finance Business Partner
- Strong financial, research, and data analysis skills, with the ability to translate insights through data storytelling
- Hands-on experience building, maintaining, and interpreting reports and dashboards to support business decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, Power BI, and/or Google Analytics
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders
- Forecasting, projection, and analytical modeling skills
