The Opportunity

This position works out of our Columbus, OH location in the Nutrition Division.

The Sales Admin and Support Analyst – Convenience will serve as the operational backbone of the Convenience business, ensuring accuracy, speed, and compliance across trade management, forecasting, analytics, and day‑to‑day sales operations. This role is internal‑facing and partners closely with the Sr. Team Leader, National Account Managers, Broker, Supply Chain, and systems teams to enable disciplined execution of channel strategies.

The role is responsible for centralizing critical administrative and analytical tasks, freeing selling roles to focus on customer strategy and growth while ensuring the business operates with strong controls, data integrity, and timely insights.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Trade Fund and Deduction Management:
    • Manage promotional events and funding for approximately 30–40 customers.
    • Process deductions, including research, validation, reconciliation, and post‑audit analysis.
  • Forecasting and Reporting:
    • Build and maintain item‑ and customer‑level baseline forecasts to support demand planning.
    • Deliver bi‑monthly forecast updates to the sales team and leadership, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Sales Analytics and Insights:
    • Produce sales reports inclusive of customer trend analysis, store counts, velocity metrics, and regional insights to support channel decision‑making.
    • Analyze Distributor portal data to inform distribution priorities and performance assessments.
    • Translate data into clear, actionable insights for sales leadership and account teams.
  • Trade Show and Asset Management:
    • Coordinate product, displays, coolers, and merchandising assets for all trade shows and events.
    • Manage shipping logistics, tracking, and post‑event reconciliation to ensure accurate inventory and cost control for all trade shows.
  • Administrative Operations:
    • Process broker invoices, display requests, gratis requests, and check requests with accuracy and timeliness.
    • Support legal contract administration, tracking, and internal communication.
    • Manage new item setup and vendor onboarding processes.
    • Track Distributor communications, negotiation status, key milestones, and next steps.
  • Partnership Setup and Compliance:
    • Complete and maintain required vendor documentation, including W‑9s, Ariba setup, credit applications, and tax forms.
    • Ensure alignment across Trade Management and Salesforce.com, including promotional events, forecasts, and funding requests.
    • Serve as a point of coordination to ensure systems accuracy and process consistency across partners.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related business field

Preferred:

  • 4+ years of relevant business experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong interpersonal / leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends to effectively develop presentations, provide recommendations and business forecasting
  • Proficient with PowerBI, Copilot, tools including Excel, Powerpoint, Nielsen and TPM/TPO
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and highly collaborative across multiple support groups

The base pay for this position is

$68,000.00 – $136,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
