The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Account Executive to drive growth and customer success within assigned Red Hat accounts. In this role, you will take ownership of key customers, developing and executing account strategies that align Red Hat’s open hybrid cloud solutions with their business and technology priorities.
You will engage directly with customers to identify opportunities for expansion—through up-sell, cross-sell, renewals, and new business development—while collaborating with internal specialists and partners to deliver complete, value-driven solutions.
Develop and execute account plans to achieve or exceed sales targets within assigned territory or customer segments.
Engage key customer stakeholders, from technical teams to business decision makers, to understand their goals and position Red Hat solutions that address their needs.
Drive the full sales cycle, from lead qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close, ensuring a positive customer experience throughout.
Identify and expand opportunities across Red Hat’s product portfolio, including Linux, OpenShift, and Ansible, driving both new and renewal business.
Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in the CRM system, following MEDDPICC and other Red Hat sales best practices.
Collaborate closely with internal teams—including Solution Architects, Product Specialists, Partner Sales, and Deal Management—to structure and deliver winning solutions.
Work with channel partners and service teams to accelerate adoption and ensure long-term customer success.
Stay informed about market trends and competitors, continuously improving your ability to articulate Red Hat’s differentiated value proposition.
3–7 years of experience in technology or software sales, preferably in infrastructure, cloud, or open-source solutions.
Proven record of meeting or exceeding annual sales targets through disciplined sales execution.
Strong understanding of the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to closing complex opportunities.
Familiarity with Red Hat’s portfolio or similar technologies such as Linux, Kubernetes, and hybrid cloud platforms.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
Strong organizational skills and proficiency in CRM tools for pipeline management and forecasting.
A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a technical discipline.
Fluent in English and Mandarin; able to communicate effectively across regional and global teams.
Willingness to travel as needed to support customers and partners.
