Safety Officer (Temporary Maternity Cover – 18 months)

Ferring + you
You will be responsible for delivering high quality case handling i.e., case intake, data entry and coding of adverse events reported worldwide on Ferring’s marketed products and development products in clinical trials. You will also perform workflow monitoring, inline quality control of ICSRs, EVWEB download, manage the portfolio mailbox and document and evaluate unexpected events in the deviation management system.
 

Your day at Ferring
Tasks and responsibilities may include:

  • End-to-end case handling: intake, data entry, and medical coding of adverse events (marketed and development products)
  • Workflow monitoring to ensure timelines and compliance are met
  • Inline quality control of ICSRs
  • Portfolio mailbox management
  • Deviation management: document and evaluate unexpected events in the Deviation Management system

You will join
A team of dedicated Safety Officers responsible for case processing at Global Safety, Ferring, working in therapeutic portfolio teams. Safety Operations is part of Global Safety, a department with more than 70 international employees responsible for the surveillance of all Ferring medicinal products and devices. We are based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and collaborate with colleagues across regions and countries.

Behind our innovation… There’s you
We are looking for a candidate with a relevant educational background (e.g., Master in pharmaceuticals/science, nurse, midwife or similar) and who is fluent in English (written and oral).

  • Experience in pharmacovigilance/case handling is an advantage—but not required
  • Familiarity with safety databases/systems, medical terminology, and coding of adverse events is a plus
