Job Description

1. Safety Policy Governance & Compliance

● Strategic Updates: Maintain and refresh safety policies, procedures, safety reporting and guidelines to ensure full alignment with evolving regulations and global industry

benchmarks.

● Records Management: Secure and manage a meticulous database of safety records, including training logs, incident data, schedule waste record and inspection reports, for regulatory reporting and audit readiness.

2. Risk Assessment & Hazard Mitigation

● Workplace Inspections: Perform systematic site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards to employee health and safety.

● Strategic Risk Analysis: Conduct formal risk assessments (HIRARC & HIRM) to quantify workplace threats and develop robust strategies to minimize or eliminate

identified risks.

3. Incident Investigation & Performance Analytics

● Incident Investigation: conduct comprehensive inquiries into accidents, injuries, and near-misses; analyzing incident reports and interviewing witnesses to uncover primary causes.

● Corrective Action Planning: Formulate and track the implementation of corrective measures to ensure incidents are not repeated.

● Performance Monitoring: Evaluate safety metrics to identify operational trends, measure program effectiveness, and recommend data-driven improvements.

4. Safety Training & Culture Advocacy

● Program Delivery: Design and facilitate engaging safety training programs, covering everything from new-hire orientations to specialized technical safety sessions.

● Culture Transformation: Foster an environment where safety is a shared value by encouraging hazard reporting, conducting "Toolbox Talks," and leading high-visibility safety awareness campaigns.

5. Emergency Readiness & Professional Development

● Emergency Preparedness: Regularly update the On-Site Emergency Response Team (ERT) protocols and guidelines to ensure organizational resilience during

emergencies.

● Continuous Improvement: Stay at the forefront of the HSE field by attending seminars and pursuing professional development to integrate modern safety trends into the

organization.
